Heavy Truck Mechanic
Responsibilities:
- Knowledgeable on heavy truck repairs, maintenance, processes and give guidance to others
- Inspect, maintain, and repair semi-trucks and trailers.
- Perform diagnostic tests for routine maintenance procedures and determine a course of action for damaged parts and systems utilizing Cummins Insite and Quickserve.
- Repair or replace malfunctioning components.
- Coordinate with management and drivers; receive and execute work instructions in a timely and properly manner.
- Ability to paint and do paint-repair a plus, but not required.
Requirements:
- MUST be WELL EXPERIENCED in diesel mechanics/heavy truck mechanics.
- Must be a good listener, a good communicator, and have an eye for detail.
- Keep the tools and work area clean.
- Should be able to use and understand an array of tools and technical equipment, especially Cummins Insite and Quickserve. Knowledge of PACCAR Solutions a plus.
